E550: Invalid free API key with newly issued key

Hi OCR.space team,

I just received a free OCR API key by email, but the API returns this error:

{“error”:“E550: Invalid free API key”,“details”:“Please sign up for a free ocr api key on OCR.space.”}

I tested it with the free endpoint:

https://api.ocr.space/parse/image

The same request works with the demo key “helloworld”, so the endpoint and request format seem to be correct.

My key starts with:
K8@

and ends with:
8957

Could you please check whether my free API key has been activated correctly, or issue a new working key?

Hello, thank you for reporting this issue. A server update yesterday broke the free api key generation. It is fixed now => Please request a new free api key.
